Twelve years in its creation, L'Oliveraie has been finished to a very high standard. Only natural materials have been used to construct and finish this vacation villa. Dry stone walls abound. Terra cotta tiles cover the entire ground floor.
The sitting area, with its flat screen TV and built-in fire place shares the open plan communal living areas on the ground floor. There's also a dining area which is rarely used given that dining tends to be al fresco in the summer months.
The kitchen has been finished in stone and terra cotta giving it a truly Provencal feel. L'Oliveraie is so called because organic olive oil is produced from the olive trees dotted all over the grounds. The oil is gorgeous and on sale at the property. The owner also leaves a selection of wine which you can buy as needed.
The solid wood beamed ceilings are 3.2 metres high giving an open, airy feel. The interior is refreshingly cool even in the full heat of the day. As you would expect, the kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave etc. There is also a washing machine at the rental property.
L'Oliveraie sits in a private valley, 3 hectares in size. This large stone house is set back within the valley and is overlooked by nothing but evergreen hooded slopes. The privacy created by this setting is complete, and rivals the tranquility achieved by the most efficient magnates of Provence.
The inviting 8 x 5 metre swimming pool, going from 1.20 to 1.80 metres deep is a delight. There are plenty of sun loungers for your comfort, and an outdoor shower for your convenience. The lawned area has been seeded and weeded, so all ready to go. The whole area benefits from exterior lighting so you can continue to enjoy everything tis exclusive property has to offer late into the night. The pool is alarmed for the protection of children.
