If you look on the left hand side in the distance, close to the mas, you will see a table. In fact there are two tables here, each for 5 people; one has an umbrella and the other is shaded by the greenery. On either side of the mas there is a veranda inside; on the right the room has a glass topped table, with an exit to the exterior. The left side holds a children's play room and storage for cushions used outdoors.
As well as the lawned garden there's a dedicated children's play area with swings and a slide. The garden remains fully enclosed by large hedges offering complete privacy. The second floor master bedroom balcony looks out over the pool.
The spacious veranda runs the length of the main part of the house, offering shelter and a beautiful sun-drenched area in the winter months. The veranda has its own entrance to the mas. There is a bedroom suite on this side of the house, whose guests can use the veranda as their private entrance.
The fully equipped Provençal kitchen is a chef's delight! A huge range cooker and marble sink dominate. The caretaker can also cook for guests (to be arranged per advance notice). Throughout the first floor there are beautifully restored vaulted ceilings - originally built in order to later allow for a 2nd floor. For lovers of fine cuisine this kitchen is a delight. Mas du Mûrier is a paradise to the eyes, elegantly decorated with fine art and original Provençal antiques.
At the back of the house there's a sheltered area just outside the kitchen which is ideal for dining alfresco. There are two tables here; one fits 8 guests and the other 4. Many guests prefer to relax here in the evening. The walls of the house here are adorned with ancient agricultural equipment creating a very rustic feel.
Here is a very comfortable sitting room, perfect for reading, relaxing or drinks. There is a large bedroom up the stair case just off this room, so the sitting room, bathroom next door and bedroom would make a lovely large suite.
This double bedroom suite (160 cm queen bed), with 'petit' sitting room is accessed through the veranda, offering an independent 1 bedroom apartment with its own piano/reading room and en-suite shower room on the ground floor. You go down the steps (barely shown on the lower left) to the bathroom and sitting room; you have a private entrance to the mas through the veranda. This is the perfect area for someone who prefers more privacy. Note however that there are no cooking facilities in this area.
This ground floor bathroom is part of a suite of rooms including a large bedroom/sitting area upstairs and which can also include the ground floor sitting room with blue furniture previously pictured..
