Bedroom 4 is on the first floor of the west wing - it is en-suite and has a 160cm double bed and high ceiling with exposed oak beams. Brightly furnished it is a very spacious bedroom with views of the rear gardens and surrounding countryside. Next to this bedroom is a fully-equipped air-conditioned gym with Kettler treadmill, cross trainer, exercise bike and Kinetic F3 Multigym.
The en-suite shower room for Bedroom 4 has a large walk-in shower with exposed stone wall, stylish vanity unit and heated towel rail. There is a separate wc, and a large window with lovely views of the grounds and surrounding countryside.
Bedroom 5 is on the ground floor of the west wing, just off the lounge area. It can be accessed via the courtyard using a purpose built ramp next to the small swimming pool. It has large French doors which open out onto the terrace and swimming pool, and is a very spacious, light and airy 160cm double bedroom.
The front courtyard of the Domaine de l'Oustalet, shaded by an ancient plane tree, has an impressive large stone built water feature and well-established lavender patch. Although this photograph was taken in Autumn, it's easy to imagine, on a hot Provençal summer's day, how soothing the sound of the fountain will be, with the fragrant lavender in full bloom scenting the air.
The main pool has been set away from the property deliberately to give the feeling of complete peace and tranquility. The 20 x 5 metre pool with
rigid electric cover sits resplendent within the extensive grounds, amongst the estate's mature trees, olive groves and vines. Relax on one of the
comfortable modern sunloungers and soak in the fabulous views of the Petit Luberon landscape. A poolside shower is camouflaged by being
painted in green to blend in with the surroundings.
Alfresco dining is possible no matter the weather under this covered patio with its rustic exposed beam and tiled roof. Situated next to the water feature in the front courtyard, you can dine in style at the very large table and chairs that seat 16 comfortably. A Focus Professional gas BBQ is ideal for outdoor entertaining, just off the dining area there is a small room with a fridge, storage space and 2 highchairs. When dinner is over there is a delightful covered terrace with outdoor sofas to recline in and while away the evening.
In the main house the kitchen is dominated by an impressive old stone fireplace and Westahl electric range with 5 ring induction hob and built in bain-marie steamer. A modern stainless steel sink with pull out shower tap sits alongside a built in old stone sink to give an eclectic mix of practicality and rustic charm. Very well equipped for either the keen cook or professional chef, there is a Kitchen-Aid mixer, Magimix processor, microwave, toaster, coffee machine with integral bean grinder, ice machine, and a butchers block housing a Bosch dishwasher. In an alcove next to the fireplace there is a storage room with 2 large Indesit fridge/freezers. A reclaimed wood and steel industrial-style table and 8 stools makes a great breakfast bar. Just off this room there is a corridor with a cloakroom, plus a utility room with a washer, dryer, storage space, and an extra undercounter fridge.
The dining room in the main house has a wonderful view of the front courtyard and terraces. The table seats 12, with leather dining chairs adding to the cool vibe. The room reflects the blend of contemporary and vintage found throughout the whole property, and the majestic faux elephant, lion, rhino and hippo head wall mounts are an eye-catching feature of this stylish living space.
The lounge in the main house is reminiscent of a gentleman's club, with its black leather settees, French bulldog statues in full military regalia, flat-screen satellite tv (French satellite reception), iPod dock - there is even a safe hidden within a mirror fronted cabinet. As with the rest of the property, it is fully air-conditioned to allow for a complete chill-out even at the height of summer in Provence.

On the second floor of the main house is a quadruple 80cm single bedroom, perfect for the children. It has flat-screen French satellite tv, plenty of wardrobe space with a driftwood beach theme - including an upturned boat serving as a bookcase. Views of both the front courtyard and the rear grounds and, like all the windows in the property, they are tilt-turn windows. The sash opens two ways, giving you ventilation flexibility. Either swing the window sash open into the room for a clear view and a full breeze. Or, if you want just a little fresh air, the handle tilts the sash in to vent from the top. Ideal for when the little ones are in bed.
The west wing of the property has its own gated and alarmed 3 x 5 metre swimming pool and separate hot tub. The hot tub is situated near the pool with it's own covered dining area for 10 people and outdoor carved wooden settee - the whole terrace is covered with a rustic timber roof to provide shade during the summer and allow for extended use of the hot tub during the cooler months.
The west wing has a games room that wouldn't look out of place on a 1960's film set, with a retro bar, black and silver table football and vintage cafe tables and chairs. A glass panel set in the stone floor lights up to provide a wonderful view of water trickling down in the old well for the house. There is a guest wc and sink just behind the bar area. A large door opens out onto the rear west wing courtyard with its pool and hot tub.
The kitchen in the west wing continues the vintage vibe with a very spacious reclaimed wooden table and seating for 14 diners. The kitchen has an electric oven and induction hob, a double marble sink, LG multi function microwave, Bosch dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Exposed oak beams, stone walls and a huge open fireplace give the kitchen a rustic ambiance.
An open plan lounge in the west wing has French doors that leads to the front courtyard with its outdoor dining terrace and a rear door which leads to the small swimming pool and hot tub area. A LG flat-screen tv with French Canal satellite and lots of comfortable seating make for a very relaxing room. The door at the end of the lounge leads to the double bedroom with full disabled access if required.
