The 8 x 9 m swimming pool is one of the highlights of this property, exactly the place you want to be in the height of summer
in Provence. The wooden sun beds and decking are just one of the nice touches the owners have taken care to provide
around the colourful garden.
Cadenet is a great area for enjoying many outdoor activities in Provence: cycling, hiking, wine tasting, kayaking, paragliding,
hot air ballooning, golf, and visiting/hiking the lavender fields.
The garden may not be huge, but the atmosphere here is wonderful. Olive trees, palm trees, cypress trees, cherry trees, flowerbeds and a bamboo fence are all carefully planted on and around the lush, well-kempt lawn.
Evenings at Villa Domino are a delight. Just sit back, sip your glass of rosé and listen to the cigales while sitting outside on the
large patio, or maybe slide open the large bay windows and relax in the living room.
The bright, spacious living/dining room really is the heart of the house. The ceiling is as high as the house itself, with a mezzanine
running along the back wall giving an even greater sense of space. The working fireplace is a great touch if you're planning on visiting
Provence outside of summer months, further adding to the sense of serene, stylish luxury that emanates from Villa Domino.
The spacious bathroom (pictured above and below) for this bedroom isn't technically en-suite, but is located just across the corridor. The other 1st-floor bedroom has its own bathroom, so the guests staying in the master bedroom wouldn't need to share this bathroom with other guests. It also has a small terrace, but this will stay locked for safety reasons if there are children staying, as it gives access to the roof.
The other 1st-floor bedroom is located on the other side of the house. Please note that this bed is 140 cm wide, considered a double bed in
France but generally not by American standards. There are two 140 cm beds in Villa Domino, but the quality of the beds and
mattresses should make up in comfort for what they lack in width!
