The village of Eygalières is a short drive but will take 20 minutes to walk. Easily accessed by bicycle, though. Eygalières itself is a much (if not the most) sough-after village in the Alpilles region of Provence, being a magnet for the rich and famous French and now more and more the English, American and Australians.
St-Rémy-de-Provence is a 15-20 minute drive from Eygalières where you will find a market town bustling with bars,
boutiques, restaurants and also a large supermarket.
Perfect for children, the garden immediately around the 300 sq² house is laid to lawn, with colourful borders, mature shrubs and trees. You will find olive trees, cypress, pine, bamboo, lauriers roses, lavender as well as other fruit trees. In addition to the garden immediately around the house there's further grass land the other side of the pool, and yet another field to be explored.
